Below you will find a general overview of our testing schedule for the spring.
Most notably, April 18th is our Testing Day for all 10th-11th graders. Our 12 th graders will be excused for the day and our 9th graders will be doing a class field trip (more details to come on that).
An outline of all upcoming assessment throughout April and May are below with additional details included. More information/details will come closer to these test date
Tuesday, April 18: Testing Day
- All 9th graders will be doing a class field trip (more details to come!)
- All 10th graders will be taking the Pre-ACT
- All 11th graders will be taking the State ACT at Chanhassen High School.
- The ACT is a paper/pencil test.
- The ACT is a paper/pencil test.
- 12th graders are excused for the day.
- Buses will run at their normal time.
- Lunch will be served.
MCA Testing starts the week of April 10th
- April 12th and 13th: All 10th graders will take the MCA Reading Test
- April 26th: All 11th graders will take the MCA Math test
- May 3rd and 4th: Students in Biology classes or those who have finished their Biology credit over the past summer or are in credit recovery this year will take the MCA Science test
Testing Details:
- ACT FOR ALL 11 TH GRADERS
- All 11th graders will take the ACT from 7:45 am - 1:00 pm. The ACT is a timed test. The test WILL NOT include the writing portion.
- Test Date: April 18th at Chanhassen High School.
- Resources/Information: http://www.act.org/ OR www.mncis.intocareers.org (free practice tests, sign into student's MCIS account or create one). Free practice test booklets are available in the CRC.
- This is free - YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN UP
- This test counts as an ACT approved national test.
- All 11th graders will take the ACT from 7:45 am - 1:00 pm. The ACT is a timed test. The test WILL NOT include the writing portion.
- Pre-ACT FOR ALL 10 TH GRADERS
- All 10th graders will take the Pre (not Practice) ACT.
- Test Date: Tuesday, April 18th
- Will be timed to practice the ACT timed testing.
- All 10th graders will take the Pre (not Practice) ACT.
- MCA III SCIENCE
- All students in Biology/AP Biology will take the MCA Science test during their Biology/AP Biology class at Chanhassen High School. Any student who earned their Biology credit over the summer or during credit recovery this year will also take the MCA Science test.
- Test Dates: May 3rd and 4th on Chromebooks
