Girls Volleyball

Welcome to Chanhassen Volleyball!

Student-athletes interested in participating must be registered with the Chanhassen High School Athletics Department, prior to August tryouts. Registration for fall athletics opens on July 10. Students must meet both Eastern Carver County School District and Minnesota State High School League eligibility requirements.

Captains/Preseason Practice 2024:                                   
August 5-9

The returning varsity squad will host and organize the 2024 Captains practice. Come with a great attitude, ready to get in some reps before tryouts, and get to know other Chan volleyball players.

Tryouts 2024: 

Who: Athletes in 7th-12th grades are welcome to try out. All ages attend all days.

When: Monday & Tuesday,  Aug. 12th & 13th from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.

Teams will be in place by end of the day on  Tuesday, Aug. 13 and those placed on teams will continue a two-a-day practices through the week.

Where: Chanhassen High School Gymnasium(s)

Remember: Registration will open on July 10. Please,register for volleyball on the Chanhassen website (above). Every player will need to be registered and have an up to date physical on file with the school in order to try out. Physicals are valid for three years, so they are generally done in 7th and 10th grade.

2024 Volleyball Player/Parent Potluck: 

Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m in commons area, inside HS main entry.  This is a mandatory meeting for parents and players. Rules and expectations of the program will be reviewed, coaches will announce teams, and get the opportunity to meet and mingle before the season begins.

Practices 2024:
When: Beginning Aug. 19 through the last competition date,  we have practice from 4-6 p.m. on non competition days (M-F) .

Where: Chanhassen High School Gymnasiums.
