How do I register for high school coccer?
This is a slightly more complicated question than we would like it to be, but we’ll walk you through it.
First, register through the school at
Registration will open over the summer. If you are registered on the soccer website, we will send reminders over the summer to make sure everyone is registered through the school.
If you aren’t registered and cleared when tryouts start, you won’t be able to tryout. It can take a couple of days to be officially cleared by the school, so don’t wait until the day before tryouts to register.
If you have any questions during the registration process, contact the activities office:
Chanhassen High School Activities
2200 Lyman Blvd.
Chanhassen, MN 55317
phone: (952) 556-3530
fax: (952) 556-3539
We will use the website to create teams, notify players of tryout results, and communicate with individual teams and the entire program throughout the season.
Once you register and teams are formed you will be able to see team practice and game schedules and more.
What is captains’ practices?
During the first couple of weeks of August each program will be holding Captain’s Practices. During this time, the MSHSL (The High School League) does not allow coaches to be in contact with players. So the teams’ captains will run sessions to help get them ready for tryouts.
All Captains Practice times will be posted via twitter @changirlssoccer
That should be enough to get you ready for the first day of tryouts. If you have any questions, feel free to contract the activities office or your head coach.
