2024 TRYOUT SCHEDULE

Tryouts will be held on August 12th and 13th at Chanhassen High School.

Please bring a payment of $50 to cover the cost of practice jerseys and game socks, this will be collected at Tryouts Check-In. Payment options include: cash or a check made out to: Chanhassen Booster Club with Boys Soccer in the memo line.

Game socks will be handed out to players as well as practice shirts. Shirts should be worn for both days of tryouts.

Times are as follows:

August 12th     8 a.m. - 10 a.m.    8th, 9th and 10th graders only

August 12th     6 p.m. - 8 p.m.       11th and 12th graders only

August 13th      8 a.m. - 10 a.m.      ALL grades

August 13th       6 p.m. - 8 p.m.       JV/Varsity tryouts by invite only & player placement will be confirmed for each team.

August 14th      Player Team placement will be confirmed formally by email.

August 15th       Uniform distribution. See uniform tab for specific times.

Players must have a current sports physical on file with the athletics office to attend tryouts and practices. Physicals are good for three years.

You will also be notified after tryouts if you need to complete a baseline concussion test. Baseline concussion testing is required prior to participating in any games. Typically 9th and 11th graders are asked to complete this. Our athletic trainer, Sandy, will give Coach Manton a list of who needs to have this important testing done prior to the first game.

All student-athletes interested in participating in Boys’ Soccer must be completely registered with the Chanhassen High School Athletics Department prior to any participation.

Students must meet both Eastern Carver County School District and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) eligibility requirements

Summer clinics will be held this year at CNHS Stadium from 4-6pm on the following Tuesdays and Fridays

07/09, 07/12, 07/16, 07/19, 07/23, and 07/26

Captains practices are optional, but highly encouraged.
