- Registration deadline for June 8, 2019 ACT
Chaska High School will be a test site for the June 8 test, but students may select any testing location (remember: some sites do fill up before the registration deadline – the registration process will help students find the next closest test site)
To Register: visit www.actstudent.org, create an account, allow about 45 minutes for your first registration, select a test location, and pay online (fee waivers are available – please see your counselor). Students can select 4 colleges to send scores to at time of registration (and up to the Thursday after a Saturday test) for no fee. Scores are easily sent later using “Send Scores” for a fee of $13 per test date per college.
- Lunches: Carver County Sheriff Explorer Post – (scroll down the page a little bit to the Explorers information if you click on the link) stop by their table if you are interested in Law Enforcement and would like to have hands-on experiences while in high school. For ages 15 or older.
- 7:00pm: Exploring College Options: event will include brief slide presentations describing each institution and will provide up-to-date information about selection practices, financial aid opportunities, and other issues related to selective college admissions – along with time for Q & A. Please sign up in advance at the event website listed above, juniors preferred.
- Local Information Session by “8 of the Best Colleges”: meet with deans and directors of admission from Claremont McKenna College, Colorado College, Connecticut College, Grinnell College, Haverford College, Kenyon College, Macalester College and Sarah Lawrence College.
