Sports Physicals – All players must have a sports physical on record with the High School Athletics Office no later than Friday, August 12, 2018 in order to be able to participate in tryouts.  Sports physicals are valid for 2 years (e.g. so typically incoming freshmen, incoming juniors, 8th graders or players new to the program would need to get a physical).  Please check with the Athletics Office if you are unsure about your son’s current status.

Summer Training is open to all returning and prospective players.  Training will start June 11th at 10:00 AM at Chanhassen Stadium.  Training will last approximately two hours.  Players should bring running shoes for conditioning runs as well as cleats and shin guards for technical/tactical training.  Water will be a must.  It is highly recommended that you participate in Summer Training in order to get physically fit and understand what tactics the program is implementing during the coming season.

Although Summer Training is not mandatory, it will make a significant difference on your preparation for the season.  Players that are interested in making the varsity squad are especially encouraged to attend these trainings as you will be more familiar with the activities conducted at tryouts.

If you are interested in receiving access to the training document in order to prepare individually or to know what we are working on for days you cannot attend, please email Coach Szewczyk at TomSzewczyk@gmail.com with the subject “Summer Training Access.”

Captain’s Practices will take place during coaches non-contact days (week of July 4th and first two weeks of August).  Check back for more information.]
